What we do...
Our most visible contribution to the harbour community is by way of harbour patrols.
Poole Harbour is one of the most popular boating destinations in the country, owing to its beautiful surroundings and proximity to Christchurch, the Solent and Jurassic Coast.
Therefore traffic levels are high in the summer season. We work with Poole Harbour Master to help keep traffic in the harbour moving safely throughout this period by carrying out weekend and bank holiday patrols as well as monitoring traffic around the lifting bridges.
But that's not all...
As well as harbour patrols, we assist with other waterborne events, which have included the Brownsea Island swim.
In the summer we also help protect the marine environment by undertaking litter picking cruises.
